Barbara is a registered nurse who is retired from practice. During her active years as a nurse, Barbara specialized in operating room nursing. Operating room nursing is a specialized field in which nurses provide quality care to patients before, during, and after surgery. An operating room nurse must have the same knowledge and skills as other registered nurses, but certain skills are even more invaluable during surgical procedures. Barbara earned her nursing degree from Northern Virginia Community College in 1996. Barbara is a member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives. Barbara attributes her success to her mentors, her drive to succeed, as well as her willingness to work hard. She currently resides in Melbourne, Florida.
